Searching for Truth.
Investigating the Divine.
Khevaan Ketu is a ten-year independent research mission exploring India’s sacred narratives, legendary figures, ancient civilizations, and extraordinary claims through history, archaeology, textual study, geography, anthropology, and scientific inquiry.
Five Interconnected Investigations
Five distinct research projects, connected where credible evidence supports a relationship—not simply because a connection is appealing.
The Ramayana Expedition
Investigate the Ramayana’s textual history, geography, archaeological context, and traditions associated with Rama, Ayodhya, the exile, Kishkindha, Lanka, the war, and Rama Setu.
The Mahabharata Expedition
Examine Krishna, the Pandavas and Kauravas, Hastinapura, Kurukshetra, Dwarka, ancient political systems, warfare, material culture, and proposed historical chronologies.
Rama & Krishna: Historical Inquiry
Build separate evidence dossiers for Rama and Krishna, tracing early texts, inscriptions, independent attestations, religious traditions, and the development of their biographies across time.
The Seven Chiranjeevis
Study the traditions surrounding Ashwatthama, Mahabali, Vyasa, Hanuman, Vibhishana, Kripacharya, and Parashurama. Distinguish scriptural claims, historical evidence, living testimony, and verifiable evidence for extraordinary longevity.
Himalayan Yogis & Extraordinary Human Potential
Research documented yogic lineages, meditation, breath regulation, physiological adaptations, longevity claims, and accounts of hidden masters. Work with accessible institutions and willing practitioners, using ethical fieldwork and appropriate scientific methods.
The Ten-Year Research Arc
A flexible sequence for building knowledge, testing claims, conducting fieldwork, and publishing transparent findings.
Foundation & Research Design
Define research questions, build bibliographies, establish source standards, create a research database, and develop ethical fieldwork procedures.
Texts, Traditions & Historical Geography
Study textual transmission, translations, competing versions, historical geography, and the limits of proposed chronologies.
Ramayana Research & Fieldwork
Assess relevant sites, archaeological reports, regional traditions, landscape evidence, and the history of the Ramayana’s reception.
Mahabharata Research & Fieldwork
Examine settlement histories, material evidence, textual layers, and the historical contexts of places associated with the epic.
Rama & Krishna Evidence Dossiers
Compare early attestations, inscriptions, literary sources, devotional developments, and alternative historical interpretations.
The Seven Chiranjeevis
Document the origins and development of longevity traditions, investigate specific modern claims, and assess source reliability.
Himalayan Yogis & Lineages
Research documented communities, oral histories, contemplative practices, and extraordinary claims through ethical fieldwork.
Interdisciplinary Testing
Bring together historical, archaeological, geographical, anthropological, and scientific methods where appropriate.
Cross-Project Synthesis
Compare findings across projects, identify genuine connections, revisit weak claims, and document unresolved questions.
Publication & Research Legacy
Prepare research reports, evidence archives, maps, essays, and documentary material that transparently distinguishes findings from hypotheses and unresolved claims.
The Research Method
Every major claim must be traceable to sources, examined against alternatives, and presented with an honest account of uncertainty.
Primary Sources First
Locate original texts, inscriptions, excavation reports, dated records, and the earliest available evidence.
Independent Corroboration
Test whether evidence comes from independent sources rather than repeated versions of the same tradition or claim.
Geography & Context
Compare textual descriptions with landscape, archaeology, settlement patterns, historical geography, and geological context.
Testable Hypotheses
Define what evidence would support or weaken a claim before interpreting results. Use appropriate scientific methods.
Competing Explanations
Consider alternative interpretations, chronological uncertainty, source bias, and the possibility that a claim remains unresolved.
Transparent Documentation
Record citations, methods, negative results, limitations, and changes in interpretation so others can independently evaluate the work.
Neither belief nor disbelief is the conclusion. Evidence is the method.
A historical settlement does not, by itself, prove every event described in an epic. An ancient inscription may establish the existence of a tradition without confirming an entire biography. A lack of surviving evidence does not automatically disprove a claim. Each conclusion must match the strength and limitations of the available evidence.
Ten Years. Five Projects. One Open Inquiry.
From ancient texts and archaeological landscapes to Himalayan traditions and extraordinary human claims, Khevaan Ketu seeks to investigate, document, question, and share what the evidence can—and cannot—establish.
